Conditioning Hair Mask

Conditioning Hair Mask

Formerly the natural conditioner bar, this rich hair treat is best used BEFORE shampooing rather than afterwards.

Many people have asked me for a conditioner bar for hair. I looked at lots of different recipes for conditioners and they all contained the scariest combinations of chemicals. To properly "condition" your hair, you need to change the pH. Doing this requires the help of science. Even the more natural recipes I found contained Behentrimonium Methosulfate, which is an ammonium salt made from Rapeseed oil. It’s generally considered safe, but no one can point to any research that states that it is good for skin or hair.

So I went back to the drawing board and have developed a combination of rich oils and butters that, when used together, alter the pH of your hair just enough. It is completely natural and you only need the smallest amount so it's good value too!

To use:

BEFORE shampooing, rub a little hair mask onto your fingertips and massage into the dry ends of your hair.

Leave in for a minute or two.

Rinse with warm to hot water.

Shampoo and rinse.
